SUMMARY:

Did you enjoy the video that you have watched? Again it is very important to know the basic rules of badminton and the hand signals that are used so that when you officiate a badminton match it will be easy for you to do so because you already have the knowledge  to do it.

SUPPORT ACTIVITIES

  • You will be grouped into six members per group
  • Each student in the group should be assigned as the referee, umpire, service judge, 2 linesmen and scorer
  • Each group will have their turn to officiate an actual game.

RUBRICS:

This is the basis of how you will be rated in your actual evaluation.

Mastery of the rules        –           40

Proper used of the hand signals - 40

over – all total     –                     80

FURTHER ENRICHMENT:

If you want to develop your skills to be able to compete, there is an annual competition you can join. This is the MILO LITTLE OLYMPICS held every October. They have a badminton event.
